Lincoln Aviator Reviews

Of all the 2020 Lincoln Aviator reviews worth noting, Car & Driver couldn't help but exclaim that this SUV is, "elegant, high-tech, and spacious." Furthermore, Motor Trend claims that this luxury SUV provides "quiet and an uncluttered cockpit where the occupants can relax." These are just a couple of the current noteworthy reviews as we expect to see more regarding the new Lincoln Aviator in months to come.

Engine Options

The 2020 Aviator comes with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that pairs to a ten-speed automatic transmission. This engine is rated at 400 horsepower. There is also a plug-in-hybrid option available which combines an electric motor with the V6 powertrain for a total of 450 horsepower. The new Aviator comes standard with RWD but the Intelligent AWD system is optional. AWD is standard on the higher trims.

Lincoln Aviator MPG Ratings

As of May 2019, there was no accurate data on the 2020 Lincoln Aviator fuel economy. Our reports now indicate that the new Aviator mpg is rated at 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway for the RWD models where the AWD models are rated at 17 mpg city / 24 mpg hwy. However, for those left somewhat concerned with the 2020 Aviator fuel economy, there will be an available plug-in hybrid powertrain. The 2020 Lincoln Aviator Plug-In Hybrid hasn't been evaluated by the EPA, but Lincoln Engineers promise a gasoline-electric hybrid that produces 494 HP and 630 lb-ft of torque with an 18 gallon gas tank paired with a lithium-ion battery slated to have a cruising range over 400 miles (around 23 mpg combined). Very impressive for a mid-size SUV that gets almost 500 HP.

Navigation System

Inside the 2020 Lincoln Aviator, there is a voice-activated touchscreen navigation system. It features pinch-to-zoom capability as well as integrated SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link.
