What About 2021 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring or Black Label Models?

We expect to see a 2021 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring model in Spring 2021. At this time, there won't be a 2021 Lincoln Corsair Black Label, but this model would fill the gap. With Lincoln tightening their lineup to just SUVs, the Lincoln Corsair is one of the only ones yet to have a Black label Edition. Much like the Lincoln Aviator, a Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring model would feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain and should start at $50,230. It also includes 24-way power-adjustable front seats, along with the features found on other trim levels.

There isn't just one Lincoln Corsair engine, or even two. Lincoln has spoiled us with three total engine choices available. The base powertrain is a 250-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder, but there is also a 295-horsepower 2.3-liter turbo-four. Both of these engines include an eight-speed automatic transmission and either front- or all-wheel-drive. There is a hybrid powertrain, which we will discuss in detail shortly. When properly equipped, this Lincoln SUV can tow up to 2,000 pounds.

The base engine produces 22/29 mpg with front-wheel-drive and 21/29 mpg with all-wheel-drive models. Upgrading to the more powerful engine changes the ratings to 21/28 mpg with all-wheel-drive.

Is There a 2021 Lincoln Corsair Hybrid?

The 2021 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring that is expected to arrive in the Spring should feature a hybrid powertrain if it follows suit with other Lincoln SUVs with Grand Touring trim levels. The Lincoln Corsair Hybrid would include a 2.5-liter turbo-four engine paired with two electric motors for a combined horsepower rating of 266 paired to a CVT (automatic transmission). It's expected to provide an all-electric range reaching up to 25 miles.

2021 Lincoln Corsair Interior Features & Amenities

2021 Lincoln Corsair Changes: What's New Compared to 2020?

The Lincoln Corsair was first released in 2020 to replace the Lincoln MKC. Because it is a newer model, there's no reason to make significant updates to it yet. However, Lincoln is planning to release the plug-in-hybrid variant for consumers looking for more efficiency. The hybrid powertrain will be featured with the Grand Touring trim level. Aside from that update, everything remains similar to the 2020 Lincoln Corsair models.
