With either the Ford Expedition MAX or 2021 Lincoln Navigator L, customers get more cargo space than standard models. The Lincoln L SUV model provides 15 extra cubic feet to the rear with this longer wheelbase on the Lincoln Navigator.

The 2021 Ford Expedition features the SYNC 3 infotainment
system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an eight-inch touch screen, satellite
radio, four USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and voice recognition. However, you
won't notice as many luxury amenities, such as the unique, upscale design
accents, upgraded technology, and the Active Motion massage seats with heated
and cooling ventilation.

Both the Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition have room for seven or eight occupants depending on the seating configuration. The new Navigator comes with 19.3 cubic feet of space behind the back row, 63.6 cubic feet located behind the second row, and 103.3 cubic feet when those seats are all folded down.

With the 2021 Lincoln Navigator remaining a carryover model, we still expect it to be equipped with the 450-horsepower 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 motor with 510 lb-ft. of torque. This V6 engine is rated at 16 city/22 mpg with RWD standard, but 4WD is available. There are six total drive modes that include Conserve to save fuel, Excite for that sport feel, and Slow Climb for heavy-duty towing. The Navigator can tow up to 8,700 lbs.
2021 Ford Expedition Engines & Powertrain
The base Expedition is equipped with a 375-horsepower 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine that achieves 17 city/23 highway mpg. With the Platinum model, owners get the 400-horsepower 3.5L EcoBoost variant instead. RWD is the standard powertrain, but 4WD is optional. Both of these come with a ten-speed automatic transmission. The Expedition can tow up to 9,300 lbs.
