Shaping the Future: An Insight into Lincoln's Star and L100 Concept Cars for Colorado Auto Enthusiasts

As if there wasn't enough excitement about the Lincoln lineup, we have some exciting news about the newest Lincoln concept cars. You can learn more about the new Star and L100 models at Phil Long Lincoln. We cover the possible trim levels, MSRP, design, and features.

Price and Trim Levels

It will be a brand-new nameplate when the Lincoln Star hits dealerships in 2025. Therefore, we don't know what trims to expect or the potential pricing. Here are some possibilities.

  • Standard | $70,000 (est.)
  • Reserve | $75,000 (est.)
  • Black Label | $85,000 (est.)

It's unclear when the Lincoln L100 will arrive or what the price will be at this time.

Exterior & Colors

The Lincoln Star may make it to the streets. Its design is now similar to the Aviator, with a more futuristic spin. On the other hand, the Lincoln L100 isn't likely to make it to production. It may look sleek and exciting, but the design is too spaceship-like to be welcomed on the streets.

Interior Design

The Lincoln Star has a wonderfully accommodating interior, and we expect to see the 30-way Perfect Position seats debut with this lineup. Whether you take advantage of the massage functionality or soak up the Bridge of Weir leather upholstery, you will surely enjoy the ride. Inside the Lincoln L100, you will find some things missing, such as pedals and a steering wheel. That's because this concept car is entirely autonomous. A chess piece is used on the center console screen if the driver needs to take over for any reason.

Seating & Cargo Capacity

Within the cabin of the Lincoln Star, there's space to hold four people comfortably. It also features a large front trunk area with a drawer for more storage room. The Lincoln L100 has front seating that can remain in its normal position or be turned around for a social gathering.

Infotainment

The new Lincoln Star is shown with a massive full-width infotainment display, but that may not come when it's being produced. Either way, other Lincoln SUVs contain large touchscreens, so we aren't worried about what will be included. The SYNC 3 software, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot should also be provided. At this time, we don't know what to expect from the Lincoln L100.

Luxury Features

Both Lincoln concept cars will be filled to the brim with luxury features. We expect to find supportive and opulent materials inside the new Star, along with an optional premium sound system, probably from Revel.

Battery & Range

The Lincoln Star will be equipped similarly to the Ford Mustang Mach E. We expect dual electric motors and battery sizes from 75.7 to 98.8 kWh. With these setups, we should see 459 horsepower out of the EV. All we know about the L100, for now, is that an electric motor and a solid-state battery should be mounted to every wheel.

Transmission

Because these Lincolns are EVs, they will both contain a single-speed transmission. With this setup, you can expect instant torque right when needed.

Drivetrain & Suspension

The new Lincoln Star is equipped with standard all-wheel drive. If the L100 makes it to production, there will also be a motor on every wheel, creating all-wheel drive.

Safety Features

While we don't know exactly what safety features will be offered with the Lincoln concept cars, we know that nothing will be spared. With the possibility of autonomous driving soon, there could be little for drivers to do but relax.

Ratings & Reviews

Car and Driver feels that "the midrange Reserve is likely to offer the best mix of features for the price" regarding the new Star EV. Car and Driver also said, "The Model L100 is a massive machine that prioritizes personal luxury above all else."
